I am not in-network with any insurance companies independently for lactation consults. However, I am contracted with The Lactation Network (TLN) and they do accept a number of insurances. If you would like to see if your insurance is covered, please fill out the form on their website by clicking here. It can take up to 48 business hours to hear back from them, but it’s generally quick. Please book a self-pay visit while waiting for confirmation and it can be changed once approval is received.

If your insurance is not covered by TLN, you are responsible for the full amount at the time of the visit. Your credit card or FSA/HSA will be collected upon booking of the appointment. You will be charged the day of the appointment for your visit. If you would like to make other payment arranges, please reach out BEFORE the day of the appointment as charges are automated.

I do offer sliding scale and that number is based on what you think you can pay depending on your family budget. You will never be turned away from care from an inability to pay, I just ask for clear communication. Sometimes I am able to fundraise the amounts if needed through social media. Please let me know before the appointment if you need sliding scale or if you want to try and have me fundraise the amount for your visit.

In addition, if your insurance is not covered by TLN, I can provide you with a superbill and you can submit it to your insurance and see if they will reimburse you directly. I have NO control over whether or not they accept it. It depends on each individual insurance company. You can be proactive and ask your insurance company if they reimburse superbills and what information they need in a superbill (ex. NPI number) to accept it. In addition to TLN and superbills, I do accept HSA/FSA cards (must have the physical card or card information) for lactation visits.

For Craniosacral Therapy visits, I do not accept insurance. I can, however, accept HSA/FSA cards (must have the physical card or card info) for Craniosacral Therapy visits. Your credit card or FSA/HSA will be collected upon booking of the appointment and will be charged on the day of the service.

Home visits take place on Fridays and are available on a first come, first serve basis. However, I do like to accommodate families with newborns 2 weeks of age or under needing in-home appointments. If you are needing an in-home visit for a newborn under the age of 2 weeks and there is no availability, please email me at your earliest convenience so I can find another space for you in my schedule. Please note: If you are a Lactation Network client and request an in-home visit, you will be charged a $50 admin fee the day of the service. For visits that are outside of my travel radius (shown below), there will be a travel fee of $25 added to your invoice for all applicable visits.

Office visits take place M-Th and are on a first come, first come basis. If there is not availability and you are needing urgent support, please email me to be added to my cancellation list. Office visits are located in North East Minneapolis at Snuggle House Foundation.

Fees are as described: In-home initial lactation visits: $275 

-In-home follow up lactation visits: $225 

-In-office initial lactation visits: $250 In-office follow up lactation visits: $200 

-In-office initial craniosacral visits: $150 

-In-office follow up craniosacral visits: $120 

-TLN admin fee: $50 Craniosacral add-on to lactation fee: $50 

-Travel fee: $25 

-Urgent appointment fee (evening/night, weekends, holidays): $25 

-Late cancellation (under 18 hours without rescheduling): $100 

-No show fee: Full amount of service
